Chief Executive Officer, Finance Montréal
Mr. Albert is Chief Executive Officer of Finance Montréal, Québec’s financial services cluster. With 23 institutional Governors and 14 Associate Members, Finance Montréal has a mandate to develop and promote Québec’s financial services industry. Mr. Albert previously assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Investissement Québec, an economic development agency. From 2011 to 2013, he acted as Chief Executive Officer of the Autorité des marches financiers (AMF), the local financial markets regulator. Mr. Albert also served in various senior roles at the AMF from 2007 to 2011. He began his career at the Department of Finance Canada where he held different positions from 1982 to 1994, including that of Director, Canadian Economic Forecast. He then worked at the ministère des Finances du Québec from 1994 to 2007 where he assumed several functions leading up to his work as Assistant Deputy Minister, Budgetary Policy and Economics.

President & Chief Executive Officer, BDC
Michael Denham was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of BDC on August 10, 2015.
Mr. Denham brings more than 20 years of management experience to BDC, having led large organizations with a pan-Canadian presence.
Based in Montreal since 2001, Mr. Denham most recently served as President and CEO of AquaTerra Corporation. Prior to this, he was the Senior Managing Director of Accenture’s Canadian division, a role he held since 2011 after joining the company in 2007. Before this, he was President, Business Process Services with CGI Group, and Senior Vice President, Strategy at Bombardier Inc., where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and global partnerships.
Mr. Denham began his career in 1987 with McKinsey & Company, and was a Leader of their Canadian practice, focussing on manufacturing and mining from 1994 to 2001.
He is a former member of the board of directors of Futurpreneur Canada (formerly CYBF), an organization focused on supporting youth entrepreneurship in Canada. He currently sits on the board of the Montreal Chest Institute Foundation of the McGill University Health Centre and is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Selwyn House School in Montreal.
Mr. Denham is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs) from Princeton University and a Master of Science in Economics with distinction from the London School of Economics.

Chief Executive Officer, Société Générale Canada
Mr. Matuszewski is Chief Country Officer for Societe Generale Canada. Mr. Matuszewski assumes the responsibility for the management of the bank's operations in Canada. Based in Montreal, Pierre Matuszewski has close to 30 years of investment banking experience in Canada, having spent the last 11 years with Societe Generale where he has been involved in a large number of domestic and cross-border equity and debt transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory transactions. Mr. Matuszewski joined Societe Generale in February 1997 as head of mergers and acquisitions in Canada after a career at several leading Canadian investment banks. Pierre Matuszewski holds an M.B.A. from McGill University as well as a B.A. in Economics from Laval University in Canada.

Chief Operations and IT Officer, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec
Pierre Miron was appointed Chief Operations and IT Officer on April 18, 2016. His mandate consists of continuing the repositioning work already initiated to enhance the agility and effectiveness of the teams in his unit to ensure they are well aligned with the needs of the Caisse units served. Mr. Miron is a member of the Caisse’s Executive Committee.
Joining la Caisse in February 2010, Mr. Miron previously held the position of Executive Vice-President, Operations and Information Technology. He has more than 32 years of experience in information technology management, of which the past 20 years were in the financial sector. He had previously held various management positions at CGI, National Bank Financial and National Bank of Canada. Mr. Miron holds a bachelor of management information systems from Université du Québec à Montréal.
Pierre Miron is a member of the Centre de services partagés du Québec. He is also a member of the Réseau TIQ, an organization that brings together some 25 IT executives from large companies and organizations in Québec.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal and participates in a number of philanthropic activities, in particular the Centraide Campaign of Greater Montreal.

Iliana Oris Valiente
Strategy and Execution Lead & co-founder at Rubix by Deloitte
Iliana Oris Valiente (CPA, CA, CBP – certified bitcoin professional) is widely credited for being a trailblazer in getting Deloitte actively involved in the blockchain space, having recognized the tremendous impact for enterprise clients. Iliana co-founded and is the strategy leader of the Rubix by Deloitte blockchain practice, a team providing advisory services and building decentralized applications across multiple technology platforms. Within Rubix, Iliana has managed projects to conceptualize and prototype proof-of-concepts related to the impact of blockchain technology across industries, with a focus on FSI, Healthcare and the Public Sector. Prior to Rubix, Iliana worked in corporate finance and M&A, specializing in valuations for technology and resource companies. A Chartered Accountant by profession, her focus has been on exponential technology, entrepreneurship and bridging the gap between the corporate world and the start-up communities.

Executive Vice President & Global Chief Information Officer, State Street
Antoine Shagoury is an executive vice president and global chief information officer (CIO). Mr. Shagoury has enterprise-wide responsibility for advancing and developing our technology strategy around achieving a truly digital enterprise. He manages all of State Street’s information technology and enterprise data activities, directly supporting operations in 27 countries covering all major investment centers. He is also a member of State Street’s Management Committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy-making team.
Prior to joining State Street in 2015, Mr. Shagoury spent five years with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) where he was the group chief operating officer and chief information officer. He had global responsibility for all operations and technology across capital markets, information and data services, and post trade. Mr. Shagoury was also chief information officer at the New York Stock Exchange/American Stock Exchange where he led the development of the exchange’s trading systems as well as managed trading and floor operations. Before that, he served as chief technology officer at Instinet and held a variety of technology leadership positions from the trading floors to technical operations.
Mr. Shagoury holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
